The five-month-long gun ban, which ended yesterday, has yielded 2,647 confiscated firearms, 292 explosives, 692 bladed weapons, and 826 gun replicas. According to the Philippine National Police (PNP’s) National Election Monitoring Action Center, around 3,041 arrests were made during the duration of the ban, with 2,769 being civilians carrying outlawed weapons, and 272 being government employees.
